Overview

LibreCAD is a 2D CAD drawing tool based on the community edition of QCAD. LibreCAD uses the cross-platform framework Qt, which means it works with most operating systems. The user interface is translated in over 30 languages.

LibreCAD is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License version 2 (GPLv2) as published by the Free Software Foundation.


NOTE: This documentation is currently be updated. Some of the documementation linked from here is based on earlier versions of LibreCAD and as a result the descriptions, commands, menus , etc may be different from what appears in the latest release.
