Longtime Linux user. First foray into installing to an android tablet and using linux in a chroot environment was an effort to successfully compile and use OpenCPN, a robust opensource marine navigation program on my Motorola Xoom. http://opencpn.org/ocpn/node/193
Accomplished blue water cruiser with the better part of two global circumnavigations, each spanning a bit more than 4 years.
