Practicing Civil Engineer, 20 years, in South Africa. I run a same practice and been struggling under the weight of an autoCAD license when we mostly do 2D drawings for our clients. As part of our client needs is that we show a valid license for our applictions.
For the last year or so I have moved the office over to Libre Office for our document processing, Thurderbird for our email needs and now are looking at LibreCAD for our typical draughting needs.
