Hi, I did 'A' Level Engineering Drawing at High School, which was Myton School in Warwick, England. Over the year when I have needed to draw up something I have always gone back to a drawing board as I was just a few years to early to even see CAD at High School in England. I left 6th Form to go to Art School in 1984, so career wise I have not used engineering drawing very often.

However, 34 years later I'm realising that being as I now have a large monitor and an A3 printer it is silly I have never learn't CAD. So, I'm going to try and teach myself. I moved to Ubuntu nearly 10 years ago and as a 'muggle' at computing have managed to maintain my system and indeed taught myself basic Gimp.
