Computer programmer of '70's. Punch cards. Cobol (it's a programming language). Assembler? I don't think I know enough about about c++ to help with coding but perhaps I can help with this chronic lack of documentation for LibreCAD. I tried LibreCAD a few years ago when I was thinking of switching to Linux and there were no help files. Now I have switched to Linux and there are still no help files for LibreCAD. To present user's with a message "Bugger, I can't find the help files" is pathetic!!! I hope I can help.
